On March 27th, Chen Zhongxu, the President of the National Technical Standards Institute of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Resources, together with the one-stop export support team of the Ministry of Planning and Finance and the Korean Trade Association, held an overseas certification system briefing for Zhongqing Circle at the Daejeon Trade Association Hall.

The overseas certification support team conducted a questionnaire survey targeting export small and medium-sized enterprises at the end of last year, which showed that enterprises found it most difficult to obtain certification information from various countries. In response to this, the government has conducted a survey stating the need for regular briefing sessions and targeted expert consultation and support.

The purpose of this briefing is to address the difficulties faced by these enterprises and provide expert on-site consultation with overseas certification and technological restrictions in industries with high demand such as electrical, electronic, robotics, food, cosmetics, medical equipment, shipbuilding, machinery, etc. Starting from today's Zhongqing Circle, it will be held nationwide in Daegu, Qingbei (4.11), Hunan Circle (4.29), Busan, Ulsan, Qingnan (5.9), Capital Circle (5.28-30), and other areas.

On the same day, the overseas certification support team introduced the current situation of comprehensive support for overseas certification and the fast track and cost discount system for overseas certification exams operated by the support team at the Zhongqing Circle briefing. For 1:1 consultations with enterprises, experts will solve difficulties on site, and unresolved difficulties on site will be quickly supported through enterprise visits and other means.

Chen Zhongxu, President of the National Institute of Technical Standards, said, "Overcoming last year's export crisis in advance and transforming into an export+driving force is the result of building a close cooperation system through the active export efforts of enterprises and the government's support will. In the future, we will comply with the requirements of exporting small and medium-sized enterprises to solve overseas certification difficulties, and continue to support the upward momentum of exports through on-site communication."
